Vampire Facelift – Bite back at the aging process

Don’t let the ominous name fool you, the nonsurgical Vampire Facelift is very safe and very effective. The process takes your own blood, distills it into what is known as Platelet Rich Plasma (or PRP for short), and uses it to rejuvenate your face. This is then combined with microneedling, a technique that encourages your body to produce collagen naturally, as well as helps the PRP to take hold. Finally, facial fillers are also used to add maximum, immediate and long lasting structural effect. The results of this powerful combination are often very drastic, giving patients’ faces a more youthful, smooth and vibrate appearance.

Here’s what you can expect:

There is very little pain associated with the process aside from the slight sting of the injections. The overall process begins with the extraction of your own blood to create the PRP. Your face is then numbed with a combination of 3 local anesthetics. Next, the afore mentioned facial fillers are then applied, which act as a sort of support structure for the PRP to take hold. Next comes the injections of you own body’s PRP.  After this, the microneedling takes place and the process is over. You can expect some facial discoloration, redness and even minor bruising, but you can return to regular activity safely as soon as the next day.

As with any medical procedure, there are risks involved, but no significant side effects have been reported. Finally, one of the best things about the Vampire Facelift is it can be used in conjunction with other popular aesthetics procedures such as laser treatments, Botox and more.  Call our clinic at 571-200-2254 for more information and a free consultation.
